Event consists of 2 Stages.
Stage 1: Objective Type Entrance test with 50 questions. The questions will be based on analog electronic circuits and logic design.
Time duration: 60min.
Stage 2: All the details and procedure regarding this round will be given on the spot through an orientation. A total of 10 problem statements will be given. Each team will be given a some amount of virtual money. To implement the circuits they will have to purchase components using allotted virtual money in a virtual shop. The designs will be evaluated for different criteria and points are allotted depending upon both the balance virtual amount and the maximum number of problems implemented in the correct manner.
Time duration: 3 hours
Rules and regulations:
- This event is a circuit branch event
- Each team should consist of 3 members.
- The participants should carry only scientific calculators with them, no other things are allowed.
- All the necessary components and devices required for the competition will be provided to participants.
- The winners are decided based on the virtual money left over with them and also depending upon the circuits implemented.
- Participants disobeying the instructions given will be disqualified and judge’s decision is final in all the disciplines.
- Spot registrations for non GITian’s are allowed.
