General Rules and Regulations:

1. It is a team event. Each team comprising of maximum of 4 members and minimum of 2 members. All the participants must be registered as Paanchajanya delegates.
2. The event will be held in two categories.

          i.           Hardware project competition.
          ii.          Software project competition.

3. All the participants have to submit one copy of project report to the judges on the day of exhibition.
4. Participants should mail their project synopsis in .doc format to project@paanchajanya.com
5. Subject of the mail to be sent should follow the format “Category – Title of the project”
6. The selected entries will be informed via e-mail and they would have to send replies confirming their participation.
7. The rules of the competition can be modified by the coordinators without prior notice. It will be highlighted on the website.
8. Decision given by Judges in all matters will be final and binding on all.

Format of the Synopsis:

1. First sheet should include the title of the project, participant’s name, college name, branch, semester and contact details.
2. Contents should contain abstract, introduction, overview of project and description. Content should be text typed with Times New Roman font of size 12, spacing 1.15
3. The requirements such as power supply, PC, software and so on should be mentioned clearly so that we can fulfill your needs.
4. Last sheet should contain the references as per IEEE format.
5. The synopsis should not exceed 4 pages excluding the first and last page.

Rules and Regulations for Hardware Projects:

1. Power supply and other requirements will be provided by the college only on prior request.
2. Qualifying participants must present their project on the day of event before a panel of judges.
3. Teams will be given a space to set up their model/design at the venue for judging.
4. Participants themselves are responsible for any damage occurring to the model.

Rules and Regulations for Software Projects:

1. Candidates may bring their own systems/laptops for the demonstration of their project with proper software and hardware required.
2. System will be provided from the college for the candidates who are not carrying their systems.
3. The candidates can use the media like CD/DVD to carry their projects (Pendrives are not allowed).
4. Internet facility will not be provided.
5. No LCD projector or accessories except system will be provided.
6. In case the application fails to run, the teams will be liable to be disqualified.
7. No alteration in the project will be allowed once the competition starts.
8. Qualifying participants must present their project on the day of event before a panel of judges.
9. Teams will be given a space to set up their model/design at the venue for judging.
